15 Favorite Praise Songs
Some Psalms cry out from the valleys. Others stand on the mountaintops and simply celebrate who God is. This collection brings together fifteen of my favorite praise songs from Singing Thru The Psalms—songs filled with joy, gratitude, hope, and the simple invitation to lift our voices in praise.
Rather than following the order the songs were written, I arranged this collection to feel like one continuous worship experience. From the opening notes to the final chorus, each song points back to the greatness, faithfulness, and unchanging character of God.
These songs span a variety of musical styles—from uplifting worship and gospel-inspired praise to folk-soul, groove-driven rhythms, and joyful anthems—but they all share the same foundation: the timeless words of the Psalms. Ancient words. Fresh sound.
Psalm 100
Some Psalms comfort us. Some challenge us. Psalm 100 simply throws the door wide open and says… Come on in.
This Psalm is an invitation to celebrate God’s goodness with thankful hearts. Not because life is perfect, but because He is always good.
Psalm 66
This Psalm 66 song is all about testimony. Not just praising God for who He is, but declaring what He’s done. We’ve all walked through something…fire, flood, uncertainty, fear.
But God didn’t leave us there. “He brought us through.”
Psalm 95
Psalm 95 begins with a joyful invitation: “Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord.” But it doesn’t stop there.
After the singing, the Psalm takes an unexpected turn. It reminds us that worship isn’t just about raising our voices. It’s also about listening when God speaks.
Psalm 96
This Psalm invites every tribe, every tongue, every city, and every nation to join in declaring God’s glory. It reminds us that the Lord reigns, that His salvation is good news worth sharing, and that all creation responds to His majesty.

Sometimes it’s easy to focus on everything happening around us—the noise, the uncertainty, the headlines, the things we can’t control. Psalm 97 reminds us of something bigger.

Psalm 99 reminds us that the Lord is not only powerful—He is perfectly holy, perfectly just, and perfectly worthy of our worship.
This song celebrates the King who reigns above all nations, answers those who call on Him, and remains the God who forgives.
Psalm 36
God’s mercy isn’t small. It stretches to the heavens and reaches to the clouds.
No matter where we are or what we’ve been through, His mercy reaches higher than the skies and deeper than the ocean… and somehow it still finds us every time.
Psalm 90
After a lifetime of walking with God through triumph, failure, wilderness, and waiting, Moses reflects on two realities: God is eternal, and our days are few.
Psalm 90 is a prayer for wisdom. “Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.”
Psalm 67
Psalm 67 reminds us that His blessing has a purpose—to make His name known among all nations. This song is a celebration of that truth.
“God be merciful to us and bless us… that Your way may be known on earth.” Not a single nation’s left out.
There are seasons where everything feels dry and where prayers feel quiet and the ground feels empty, but Psalm 65 reminds us that God doesn’t leave things that way.
“You visit the earth and water it… You crown the year with Your goodness, And Your paths drip with abundance.”
Psalm 92
We live in a world that celebrates what is new, fast, and impressive. But Psalm 92 reminds us that the people who are rooted in God grow differently.
Like a cedar tree, their strength comes from deep roots. Like a fruitful tree, they continue to bear fruit season after season.
Psalm 81
Some Psalms feel like a cry in the night, but Psalm 81 feels like the morning after the breakthrough. “Raise a song; sound the tambourine…”
This one became a celebration song about belonging, worship, and remembering the God who still provides.
